LEGACY

What is Legacy?

Legacy is for the person who is a part of UNITED Church and they are interested in how their Kingdom Resources can be tied to Kingdom Impact.

Legacy is an outlet for those who are called and equipped to finance the Kingdom of God and to leave a legacy. It is a financial commitment or one-time investment that is over and above their tithe.

Where does Legacy giving go?

Legacy giving goes towards the "THREE LANES OF IMPACT". They are:

UNITED University - UNITED University is the environment where we are raising up the next generation of leaders for the local church. This is accomplished through high school age Interns, college age Apprentices and post-college age Residents. One of our core values as a church is "We're Passing It On" and this comes alive through UNITED University!

Missions - Missions is such a significant part of who we are as a church. This includes local efforts through Love Delaware and local partnerships through organizations like: Food Bank of Delaware, 88.7 theBridge, Habitat for Humanity and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Missions also includes regional efforts through Association of Related Churches whose mission is starting life-giving churches all across America. It also includes a long-term foreign mission's partnership with American Caribbean Experience based in Galina, St. Mary, Jamaica. Another of our core values as a church is "We're Part of a Bigger Story" and this is expressed through this lane of impact.

Expansion - Expansion is the on-going dreaming and planning about where we are and where we are going as a church when it comes to physical locations. Long term, our goal is to be able to move strategically when it comes to acquisition of land and buildings so that as something comes available and God brings opportunity we will be able to move forward from a position of strength. Another of our core values as a church is "We're Never Finished" and we always want to be thinking about the new and next in each season of our church.
