Building For Generations
Building For Generations is a church-wide journey that challenges us to live beyond ourselves! This journey includes a six-week message series, UNITED Groups, a daily devotional, and other special elements along the way! Together, we’ll discover how God is calling us to love Delaware, impact future generations, and play our part in His greater story. The beautiful part of following Jesus is that He is always encouraging and inspiring each of us to take our next step of faith. Over the next six weeks, we’ll grow in our relationship with God, strengthen our faith, and hear His voice like never before as we look beyond where we are to generations to come!
A Message from Pastor Kenneth
I want to start by saying thank you for going on this journey with us that we’re calling Building For Generations!
This is an exciting season for us as a church as we step into an aligned church-wide campaign where, for the first time, our entire church, including our kids, students, and adults, will journey together. You may have heard me say this a million times, but my heart’s desire for you is to Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make A Difference! And when it comes to following Jesus, I pray you step into everything that He has for you in your life! I’m not just praying that for you and our generation, I’m praying that for the generations to come! Psalm 102:18 says, “Let this be recorded for a generation to come, so that a people yet to be created may praise the LORD.” We want to build a faith and foundation that are not just for the here and now, but for generations to come.
Over the last several years, I have felt in my spirit that God has been preparing us to put down permanent roots in the city of Dover, the place where the movement of UNITED began! To be clear, this isn’t just a building campaign, it’s an opportunity to step into everything God has for us as a church and to see the miracle of His provision!
Building For Generations will launch as a series, and it includes three vital ways for you to participate.
First, attend the Building For Generations series on Sundays, from October 4 to November 8. Please do everything you can to join us each week during this six-week journey.
Second, join a UNITED Group. Even if it’s not something you have done before, walking through this journey with others will help all of this come alive. There will be hundreds to choose from!
Third, use the devotional each day. You can find it inside the Building For Generations Guide. Also inside, you’ll find space to take notes during the messages, along with daily devotionals that we’ll all read together. The devotional is designed to be completed five days a week, Monday through Friday, beginning October 5. Set aside a few minutes each day to read, reflect, and respond. Thank you again for committing to go on this journey with us. Years from now we’ll all look back on this as a ‘God-moment’, a time in our lives where we saw Him show up in an incredible way! Throughout this journey, I’m praying that you encounter God in a fresh and powerful way as we begin Building For Generations together!

We are excited to share the first renderings of our future home in Dover! This will be more than a building. This will be a place where lives are changed. Where the people of Delaware come to Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make A Difference
Lobby & Legacy Coffee Co.
The lobby will be more than a place to walk through. It will be a space where friendships are formed, conversations happen, prayers are shared, and community comes to life. Designed with natural light, comfortable gathering areas, and room to connect, this space will help create a welcoming environment for every person who calls UNITED home.
We’re thrilled to bring Legacy Coffee Co. to Dover, creating a space where ministry can happen every day of the week. We believe some of the most meaningful conversations will happen right here. It will be another way we create space for people to Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make A Difference.
Auditorium
The Auditorium is where lives are changed, faith is strengthened, and our church family gathers! Every seat represents a story waiting to be written, a life waiting to encounter Jesus, and a family looking for hope and belonging. As we make room for more people, this space will help us reach future generations and continue building a legacy of faith that impacts Delaware for years to come.
This space will house 1,300 seats, which is 44% more than Dover High School’s auditorium. This will be a place to host First Wednesday, MIDWEEK, Revival Nights, FREEDOM Conferences, and much more!
UNITED Kids & Students
This will be the perfect place for UNITED Kids to learn Jesus on their level in a fun and safe environment. Featuring a full- court gym, engaging ministry spaces, and a fully equipped special needs environment, this area is designed to help every child grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and discover God’s purpose for their life.
This space will also serve UNITED Students during MIDWEEK, creating opportunities for the next generation to connect, grow, and encounter Jesus for years to come.
